2002 Silverton 390

Marco Island, Florida

$169,900

2002 39 Silverton MY:
“MUFASA”

Mufasa is offered for sale with a transferable boat slip through October 2024. She is moored at The Esplanade Shoppes at Marco Island. Check out their web site – this is a rare opportunity to keep a boat at a very cool, safe marina, with great restaurants, and close to the Gulf of Mexico.

Mufasa is a clean motor yacht, shows well for her age and has had two owners. The vessel is powered with twin 3126 Caterpillars with 296 hours; the 1000-hour service was recently completed by the current owner by an authorized Caterpillar dealer in Fort Lauderdale. The service was performed because of the age of the motors. The vessel has two staterooms and two heads, large comfortable salon with a satin cherrywood finish, a fair size galley with oven.  She offers comfortable exterior seating with salon/sofa. All the reverse cycle AC units have recently been serviced. The 10KW generator is in a sound shield and was just serviced. All the electronics power up and for easier docking she comes with a side power bow thruster. The Isenglass enclosures are in nice clear and in like new condition. This will be a fun boat to own, will make a great family coastal cruiser or a perfect liveaboard boat.

We do not expect this 39 Silverton to last long on the brokerage market, especially with the transferable slip that is available until October 2024.

Vessel Walkthrough and Details

HULL DECKS AND TRANSOM:

Mounted on the transom is a Hurley H30 davit system with a remote. There is a concealed telescoping swim ladder and the Glendenning shore power cable master, along with a large storage bin for lines and fenders. In the storage bin is the transom hot and cold, handheld shower. Mounted on the port side of the transom is an outboard bracket. Aqua Deck flooring has been applied to the swim platform and the steps to the aft deck. The covering is pleasing to the eyes and very practical for when you have wet feet.

The Vessel provides comfortable molded steps with stainless steel safety rail from the swim platform to the roomy aft deck which is covered by the factory hard top. An air conditioning unit is mounted in the hardtop. On top of the hardtop are two mounted solar panels putting out a total of 300 AMPs; these panels charge the house batteries. The Rover charge controller for the solar panels is located in the salon.

Aft on the deck is a comfortable transom seat, for dining there is a Teak table, a wonderful place to start the day with that early morning mug of coffee. Port side on the deck is a sliding acrylic door with mosquito screen and on the starboard side is a wet bar with working ice maker. Starboard side on the aft deck is a transom gate with access to a molded standing area and access to an Atkins and Hole davit system. This working/standing area will allow you to remove an outboard or other heavy items from a tender that would be alongside the boat and bring those items safely on board the vessel. Forward and up three molded steps is the bridge. On both sides of the bridge and aft are port and starboard side forward facing double wide bridge seats. At the helm are three forward facing helm seats and on both sides of the bridge are side bridge gates, allowing access to the foredeck. The side walks are quite wide, providing a comfortable, safe walk up to the bow. At the bow you will see a concealed windlass, a washdown in the anchor locker and the molded pulpit with a remote bow light. The stainless-steel bow rail is in good condition and for the sun lovers there is a sun pad and cup holders.

STATEROOMS AND HEADS:

The owner’s stateroom is aft and has a walkaround bed with storage under it and a cedar-lined hanging closet. The bathroom and shower are split with privacy doors. The room has approximately 6’3” of head room. In the headliner are recessed lights, there are two large windows and the room has a solid sliding privacy door. This is a comfortable room for a 39’ vessel and is finished with a satin cherry wood.

The guest room is at the bow, this room also has good storage, a cedar-lined closet, and good head room. The guest head will also act as the day head and is accessed either from the guest stateroom or from the salon. In the head is a stand-up stall shower. Both the master stateroom and guest stateroom have reverse cycle air conditioning.

SALON AND GALLEY:

The first thing you notice when you enter the interior of Mufasa is how open and roomy the interior is and how bright is it with good natural light coming through large hull side windows; the windows have blind shades. The interior is tastefully finished with the satin Cherry wood veneer. The head liner is in good condition and there are no foul odors. Along the starboard hull side is an L-Shaped sofa that converts into a sleeper, port side in the salon is the dining table with wraparound seating. For entertainment you will see the large flat screen satellite TV screen and the music center with Bose speakers located throughout the salon. A wine cooler has been installed into the cabinets.

The galley is a good size and is down and open, allowing you to talk to people in the salon and at the dinette; the galley has a hard wooden veneer sole. In the galley is great storage a newer stand up Isotherm fridge / freezer, there is an oven, a convection oven, coffee maker. The countertop is Corian with a large sink.

ENGINE BAY:

Engines are under the salon sole. For better maintenance the whole salon floor can be removed. The 3126 Caterpillars are 385 BHP motors at 2800 RPM’s with just under 300 hours on them, coupled up to ZF Hurth Marine transmissions. The 1,000-hour service was performed on the Cats – only because of the age of them, an authorized Caterpillar dealer on the east coast of Florida performed the service in 2022. The vessel has a 10 KW Kohler generator in a sound shield with 1,069 hours. For easy oil changes you will notice the XchangerR oil change system.  You will see a ProNautic digital charging system and a Prosport HD 20 charger. In the engine room is the fire suppression system and the boat’s batteries are aft.

HELM:

Helm seats are triple wide forward facing bench seats with great visibility through clear Isenglass curtains. All the helm gauges are clear and easy to read. You will see a working, color GPS map, Garmin VHF, Raymarine ST60 Tridate, working color Garmin GPS map XSV and Raymarine ST6001 Smart Pilot, along with the joystick for the recently installed bow thruster and the boats compass and remote pad for the remote bow light. The bridge is covered with a full enclosure.
